Today we announced an important leadership succession at S&P Global Mobility. After 12 incredible years, I have decided to step down as President of Mobility. Bill Eager, current CEO of CARFAX, will be appointed President of Mobility, effective August 15, where I will then transition to a strategic advisor role. Leading Mobility has been a true privilege and one of the highlights of my career. I am proud that with my talented colleagues and the broader S&P Global leadership team, we turned Mobility into an industry leader – adding transparency to the automotive market and helping our customers address some of the industry’s most complex challenges. Having worked closely with Bill since 2013, I have witnessed his expertise and passion for the automotive industry firsthand. As the Company moves forward with the planned separation of Mobility, Bill is the right leader for this next chapter. This is also a natural time for a leadership transition, and for me to take on a new challenge.
